Heather Nauert

 Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former official of the government who was Spokesperson for the United States Department of State in the Donald Trump administration from 2017 until 2019. She is a senior associate of the Hudson Institute. It is a think tank that is conservative.



 



 Before joining the Department of State she was an Fox News correspondent and news presenter. From March to October of 2018, Nauert worked as acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy as well as Public Affairs and Diplomacy under the Trump administration. Nauert was also named to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board in 2019 by Trump.
